The Mid State Brew Crew is homebrew club based out of Murfreesboro Tennessee. Formed in late 2006, the MSBC has grown to include several members. The MSBC meets on the first Saturday of every month at 3pm at Liquid Smoke on the square in downtown Murfreesboro. FAQ on the Mid-State Brew Crew:
1. The Mid-State Brew Crew is open to all types of homebrewers, from the “Never brewed yet but thinking about it” guy/gal to the expert.
2. Each member and new member is asked to always bring some homebrew for the club to sample, or at least a nice microbrew/import. Figure enough for 15 people at 2 oz. a piece (6-pack will work).
3. Everyone should bring their own “Meeting Kit” (i.e. a personal tasting cup and snacks such as saltines and pretzels to clear palates between beer samplings, etc.) to each club meeting. 4. Typical meeting agenda (90 minutes total):
Roll Call/Sign-in: 5 minutes
“Tasting of the Brews”: 25 minutes (and continuing during Topic discussion, Q&A and additional club business)
Topic discussion: 30 minutes
Q & A: 20 minutes
Discussion of next meeting agenda: 10 minutes
